Question: What is a Trusted Program?

Answer: Trusted programs are programs which contain spyware, but you have decided to let run on your computer.

Sometimes, free or shareware programs you download from the Internet also install spyware on your computer. If the spyware is removed, the program that downloaded the spyware onto your computer may no longer function. In these cases, you may decide to add the spyware to Trusted Programs to avoid having it removed.

Programs moved to Trusted Programs list from the Quarantine will be ignored during future scans. Removing a program from the list will cause it to be detected as spyware and added back to the Quarantine.
