Question: What is the Anti-Virus real-time protection and why do I need it?

Answer: The Anti-Virus real-time protection provides continuous protection to your computer by checking for viruses whenever a file is opened, saved or downloaded. You can turn on or off the real-time protection from the main Anti-Virus service.

Note: We do not recommend turning off the real-time protection option. Turning off the Anti-Virus real-time protection will also turn off the Anti-Spyware and Proactive Protection services. In order to turn off these services, you will have to click Yes on the confirmation message.
