Question: I am trying to launch a Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware or Proactive Protection scan and it does not start. What should I do?
Answer: Another scan performed by another service in currently in progress.
If you cannot start a scan, you will receive the following error message:
“The following task is in progress: (Service Name) Please wait for this task to finish before starting a new task”.
Resolution: Wait until the service scan has completed in order to launch your security scan.
