Question: What is the Secure Erase service?

Answer: The Secure Erase services helps you improve your privacy by deleting files in such way that they can never be recovered. Deleting a file in Microsoft Windows just removes the directory information it was used to find it, but not the actual data. The Secure Erase service overwrites files with random data so that no one can retrieve the content of the file.
